INE Compact is a small form factor (book-size) embedded Windows appliance which can be used to emulate line impairments such as bandwidth limitations, delays, jitter and packet loss. INE Compact has been designed with speed and ease of use in mind. From the main control interface it is a simple process to make changes to bandwidth, delay and packet loss. Simply set the appropriate slider to the required setting, click update and you are ready to see how your application will perform in the new network environment.

Capabilities
- Remote operation via VNC
- Configurable impairment parameters (bandwidth up to 10Mbits/s, delay, packet loss)
- Load pre-defined scenarios
- Graph throughput (packets/sec, bits/sec)
- Symmetric or asymmetric operation

Tests Performed
iTrinegy Network Emulator Compact (INE-Compact) provides the user with the ability to alter the characteristics of a simulated network, be that WAN, DSL or wireless. Providing accurate configuration of all of the major parameters associated with links such as bandwidth, delays, jitter and packet loss, the INE-Compact allows the user to verify the performance of applications.

Summary
The iTrinegy Network Emulator Compact (INE-Compact) is a simple, effective tool to enable users to simulate a wide range of network conditions and test the performance of their applications in these conditions, without considerable investment in a huge array of network equipment.
