Innocor's TestPoint series are a range of platforms providing analysis and generation on transmission rates for Ethernet, Sonet and SDH networks.  The TestPoint, available as either a portable single-port chassis or high-port density solution, includes modular cards supporting SONET/SDH analysis and simulation between STM1 and STM64 transmission rates.  Additional testing included within this module includes GFP, LCAS, VCAT, ATM, and OTN, as well as DS3/E3 mapped over Sonet/SDH.  Additional modules are also available for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet testing.

Tests Performed

The Sonet/SDH module provides the capability to monitor and simulate problems on the Sonet/SDH level such as bit errors or incorrectly set overheads.  As well support for traditional ATM networks, the TestPoint series also provides similar alarms and statistics for both Next Generation SDH (GFP, LCAS, VCAT) and g.709 (OTU-1 and OTU-2) networks.  Additional analysis, simulation and monitoring have also recently been added to include DS3/E3 over Sonet/SDH including Bit Error Rate Tests on payload (Bit-HDLC or GFP) of each individual DS3 or E3.                                                                                         

Summary
