Innocor's TestPoint series are a range of platforms providing analysis and generation on transmission rates for Ethernet, Sonet and SDH networks.  The TestPoint, available as either a portable single-port chassis or high-port density solution, includes modular cards supporting gigabit ethernet analysis and simulation.  As well as the hot swappable Gigabit Ethernet module, other modules support for transmission rates STM1-STM64 and 10 Gigabit Ethernet.

Tests Performed

The Gigabit module provides the capability to not only monitor and simulate errors at the IP layer but to also perform detailed analysis at both the MAC and PCS layer, allowing simultaneous analysis of all these vital levels.  Additionally, the industry standard RFC-2544 test suite is provided for verification of Gigabit Ethernet links as well as the ability to capture at both the PCS and MAC layer for complete understanding of the same Gigabit Ethernet link.
