Tests Performed
The Parascope MP provides simulation of DTE and DCE devices, as well as monitoring WAN links up to 2.048mbps, capable of providing quick and simple view of the status of RS-232 links, using physical LEDs and test point access for major RS-232 signals, the Parascope MP can also perform Bit Error Rate tests whilst injecting errors to check line integrity on a variety of WAN links including X.21 interfaces. Additionally, in conjunction with a PC, the Parascope MP is able to provide full 7-layer decode of signalling and important statistics including utilisation and errors.
