The ADSLez, at a cost of under £1150 is an easy-to-use handheld ADSL tester offering ADSL and line testing capabilities, whilst the ADSL2+DMM handheld tester provides the same functionality together with a high resolution backlit LCD.

Tests Performed
The Parascope ADSL family of testers Auto-synchronise with the DSLAM ATU-C and provide details regarding the service rates achieved and the noise margins on the line under test. Once synchronised the testers can be used to perform a variety of tasks including DHCP and ping, via ADSL2+, via Ethernet and via LAN. Alternatively the testers can be used as a 'Golden modem' in either routed or bridged mode, replacing the suspect modem and supporting Internet login.
