The Parascope 2000 is a portable telecom and datacom analyser for installation and maintenance of T1/E1, Frame Relay, ISDN BRI/PRI, SS7 and RS-232 Circuits.  The Parascope 2000 can be deployed in conjunction with PC software to monitor, simulate, perform drop and insert or run BERT on a range of WAN interfaces, including E1/T1 and ISDN.  These capabilities can be further enhanced by ISDN and DTMF call placement and the use of an optional remote probe.

Tests Performed

The Parascope 2000 provides simulation of DTE and DCE devices, including drop and insert, on WAN interfaces including T1/E1, Frame Relay, ISDN BRI/PRI, SS7 and RS-232.  Additional Analysis offered by the Parascope 2000 includes both full 7-layer decode of all interfaces monitored, Bit Error Rate Tests and error injection on all interfaces supported.  Additionally, as well as simulation of DTE and DCE devices, the Parascope 2000 can also provide DTMF and Call Placement on S/T and U interfaces.
