Allegro Analogue Network Load Generator

The Allegro Analogue has the ability to emulate 4 Analog telephones simulating subscriber calls.  The Ameritec Allegro's flexible software configurations and user-defined call scripts allow the world's smallest network load generator to be easily configured to provide a range of call scenarios that emulate those seen in real networks.

Capabilities

    • The world's smallest fully functioned network load generator at 18 x 5 x12.5cm.
    • Supports emulation of 4 independent analogue telephone users.
    • Quality of Service (QoS) packages including GMOS, G-PSQM, G-PESQ and R-Factor Scoring of all channels simultaneously.
    • Easy to configure user interface with XpresScripting Visual tool for added automation.
    • GPS synchronisation for end-to-end testing to remote locations.
    • Ability to capture and replay Audio Streams
      • Testing Voice Responsive IVR Systems.

Tests Performed

The actions of each subscriber are independently controlled through a parameter field defined within the user programmed scripts, allowing emulation of real-life scenarios to allow the lines to be tested for such issues as signaling, dialing, voice over packet, voice quality (GMOS,G-PSQM, G-PESQ, R-Factor), digit decoding, tone sending, audio generation, path verification and tone reception.  Extended features such as modem/fax recognition and Echo Cancellation/Response suites are also available as options.

Summary

With Ameritec's Allegro Network Load Generator it is now possible for every developer to place an analog simulation device at his or her workstation.  The Allegro offers all of the flexibility and features that customers expect and demand from an Ameritec call generator but with a form factor and price that make it the perfect tool for developing equipment used in analog networks.
